CallingtheHogs.com has confirmed the newest offer for the Hogs in Jalen Grimble (Las Vegas,NV/Bishop Gorman).
Grimble is an ESPN top 150 watch list member and currently stands at 6'3 250 pounds and is a terror from his defensive end position for one of Nevada's best high school programs.
CallingTheHogs.com was able to confirm with Jalen's father of the Arkansas offer.
"Jalen just was offered by Arkansas just a bit ago," confirmed Mr. Grimble via text message.
Grimble has been accustomed to the recruiting cycle as his older cousin Xavier recently signed with the USC Trojans as one of the nation's best prospects for the 2010 class.
Bishop Gorman has also been a huge powerhouse program over the last few years as they recently won the Nevada State title this past season.
Grimble had 59 tackles and eights sacks in his junior season for 2009 and as a sophomore he recorded 28 tackles and four sacks after shifting into the starting lineup midway through his sophomore team.
This past spring however was when Grimble really jumped onto the recruiting scene. Grimble was invited to the USC Trojans Rising Stars camp in April and after one day was moved to working with players in the 2010 class instead of the 2011 class and Grimble starred.
Following that spring performance against some of the nation's best Grimble has been offered by Arkansas, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Tennessee, UCLA, USC, Stanford, Nebraska, Utah, and Washington to name just a few of the high profile schools to offer this talented defensive end.
CallingtheHogs.com will speak with the Grimble family about the offer from Arkansas more in-depth as soon as a time and date can be arranged.
