C.J. Bray of James Island, South Carolina can play either side of the ball but his first offer, from the University of Arkansas, has him projected at defensive end.
“Arkansas is the first school to offer,” Bray said. “They want me at end. I don’t really have a preference where I play, just wherever the school thinks I will do the best.”
The Hogs are hoping the 6-foot-8, 240 pound junior prospect returns the favor and makes the Hogs his first choice. Bray will have a chance to take in the Arkansas campus this summer.
“We don’t have a date set yet, but we’re going to be planning a visit very soon.” Bray said. “I’m really excited about the offer and getting to Fayetteville and seeing everything.”
Bray has high marks for the Razorback program.
“It’s exciting to get my first offer from a SEC program.” Bray said. “I know Arkansas is definitely improving under Coach Petrino. They are going to be a great football school in the upcoming years.”
Bray is putting a summer visit schedule together at the time and says additional scholarship offers will likely depend on his performance over the break.
Bray has already taken unofficial visits to Georgia, South Carolina, and Duke.
