The Razorback coaching staff is putting a priority on receivers that can come in and make an early contribution and that route has led to Ocean
Springs, Miss. star athlete Joe Morrow.

Arkansas is facing the possibility of replacing two or their top three wide receivers at seasons end. Juniors Greg Childs, Jarius Wright, and Joe
Adams are all going to be draft eligible and have NFL scouts attention.

Arkansas assistant Steve Caldwell has taken over the recruiting duties in the Magnolia state and has made an early impression on Morrow.

"Coach Caldwell seemed like a really cool guy." Morrow said. "I think we could start a good relationship together. He was telling me how much they
could use me and that I would really help them out if I came up there to play. He wanted to know when I would be coming up for a visit.

It was reported elsewhere that the Mississippi WR listed Arkansas as his current leader, and that is true to some extent.

"I did say that," Morrow said. "It's kind of too close to call right now though. Arkansas, Ole Miss, and LSU are at the top"

Morrow has already visited both, LSU and Ole Miss as well as Mississippi State, Auburn, and Alabama.

The Razorbacks offered Morrow a little over a month ago. I asked what the Hogs have done to get towards the front of the pack.

"They spread the field with more than just running." Morrow said. "They throw the ball a lot at Arkansas."

Morrow said that while he likes the Arkansas offense, the running style of Ole Miss will not hurt the Rebels. He does not have a visit planned to
Arkansas but said he hopes he can see the school soon.

Joe has been offered by all six teams in the SEC West but his top three division rivals all have one thing in common.

"All three have receivers that are leaving or have one more year left and the schools are telling me I can play as a true freshman."

Arkansas has two wide receiver commitments already on board with Forrest City's Davyon McKinney and East St. Louis' Keante Minor. The numbers may
depend on the decision of the junior standouts with NFL options looming. Arkansas could be getting a visit from elite receiver Kasen Williams this
summer. There are a few wide outs on the board that Arkansas would likely hold a spot for and Morrow is one of those.
