FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas Razorback men’s and women's track and field squads, both ranked sixth in the nation, will begin the championships portion of the 2010 indoor season with the hosting of the SEC Indoor Championships, at the Randal Tyson Track Center, today through Sunday.
Multi-events will start 1 p.m. on Friday , while field events are at 10 a.m., running events start at 1:30 p.m on Saturday. and multi-events are at 2:10 p.m. Sunday, field events are at 10 a.m. and running events are at 12:35 p.m.
No. 21 Alabama, No. 16 Auburn, No. 4 Florida, No. 25 Georgia, No. 23 Kentucky, No. 3 LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee will be competing with the Hogs at the Randal Tyson Track Center this weekend on th men's side.
In the women's division, Alabama, No. 9 Auburn, No. 3 Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, No. 7 LSU, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina, No. 4 Tennessee and Vanderbilt will be competing with tthe Lady Razorbacks.
The ESPNU championship highlight show will air Thurs., March 11 at 8 p.m. CST on ESPNU. SEC Weekly TV will also be devoting a show to the championship. SEC Weekly TV airs Tuesdays at 5 p.m. CST on ESPNU and repeats a few times during the week. Some of the clips from SEC Weekly TV are also posted on SECSports.com.

The LSU Tigers are No. 3, the Florida Gators are No. 4, the Auburn Tigers are No. 16, the Alabama Crimson Tide are No. 21, the Kentucky Wildcats are No. 23 and the Georgia Bulldogs are No. 25.
On the track this weekend, Arkansas will be in the hunt for its 29th conference indoor team title, its 17th SEC indoor team title, its 94th conference team title overall (cross country, indoor and outdoor) and its 49th SEC team title overall (cross country, indoor and outdoor).
Dorian Ulrey holds the SEC leading times in the mile and the 3,000 meters, the Scott MacPherson in the 5,000 meters and Drew Butler, Ben Skidmore, Chris Bilbrew, Ulrey are the top quartet in the distance medley relay.
Arkansas’ Karen Thomas, junior Shelise Williams, junior Edina Brooks and freshman Regina George hold the leading time in the NCAA and the SEC in the 4x400-meter relay (3:32.87). Williams also has the SEC’s top time in the 400 meters (52.43).
